The “Bro-tox” trend continues to soar as ladies gift their men with a more relaxed and youthful look!

Studies show that more than 300,000 men received BOTOX® last year, a 10% increase from the previous.

Overall, the number of men undergoing surgical procedures has soared by 45% since 2000. Today, 1 in 8 surgeries are performed on male clients. The most popular procedures you may ask? Facelifts (mid, lower and full) as well as Blepharoplasty and Ptosis repair. BOTOX® has been a non-invasive step for men who are not yet committing to take the corrective approach.

If BOTOX® is injected properly, a common response from those closest to you is how “relaxed, rested and youthful” you look. Some patients are concerned they will appear “frozen” or lack overall facial movement, looking “emotionless or unauthentic.” While BOTOX® is a relaxant, this should not be the case if you are working with an experienced doctor, such as myself, who is targeting the correct areas you request.

I can tell you from personal experience, male clients are more hesitant at first to have or share that they have had a surgical procedure or injectables performed. However, they are some of the most grateful and satisfied clients. I have often heard how a more youthful look can impact confidence and increase chances of employment and advancement in a difficult economy.
